HomeAid Colorado aims to raise $100K in five days. Kentwood CEO Gretchen Rosenberg calls on Brokers to support the effort by spreading the word through Facebook Live and IGTV events.
At Kentwood Real Estate we believe accomplishing more together fosters closer-knit communities where neighbors help neighbors. As the leading Denver-area, Fort Collins, and Front Range luxury real estate brokerage in Colorado, Kentwood Real Estate takes seriously its responsibility as a stakeholder in local communities, and our role begins with service.
Because of our deep roots, Kentwood Real Estate will always maintain a deep commitment to community service. This past winter, Kentwood Real Estate hosted holiday drives donating over 100 toys to the beneficiaries of Mercy Housing and Be the Gift, and over 400 items to HomeAid Colorado’s Essentials Drive. More recently, in response to impacts stemming from COVID-19, Kentwood donated pizzas to front-line workers in hospitals in Denver and Fort Collins to show our appreciation for their selfless work, as well as contributed to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors(R) 21-Day Fundraising Challenge which raised nearly $10,000 for HomeAid Colorado to help community members affected by the pandemic. Today, we are honored to support HomeAid Colorado’s Safer with Homes campaign and we will be doing so in an innovative way.
HomeAid Colorado, a local chapter of the national network of HomeAid America, recently canceled its annual 2020 Building Homes – Rebuilding Lives breakfast fundraiser due to impacts stemming from COVID-19. Last year’s event raised $120,000 for the organization’s critical efforts in supporting programs for those highest at risk of homelessness.
HomeAid Colorado brings together construction-industry professionals and affiliates to complete construction projects and provide vital resources to nonprofit care providers, who assist those in our community who need a leg up.
As an official partner of HomeAid Colorado, Kentwood Real Estate is proud to do its part to help make up for the loss in contributions by supporting HomeAid’s Safer with Homes initiative. Over five days, June 1 – 5, 2020, I’m calling on Kentwood Real Estate Broker Associates to host live, virtual open houses on their social media channels – via Facebook Live or IGTV – to support HomeAid Colorado’s Safer with Homes campaign.
HomeAid Colorado’s goal is to raise $100,000 over the course of five days.
The Safer with Homes campaign helps families and individuals in crisis, across Colorado. If we’re able to support HomeAid Colorado in achieving its $100,000 goal, hundreds of our neighbors will have a safe place to call home.
Twenty years ago, the Discovery Home for Boys was constructed, and it has since provided the skills and safe setting for 100 young men who otherwise would have never gotten the chance to thrive. Now, in 2020, HomeAid Colorado’s Safer with Homes campaign will help HomeAid break ground on a matching home for girls!
Let’s do this together. If you would like more information on the HomeAid Colorado Safer with Homes campaign, please visit https://homeaidcolorado.givingfuel.com/kentwood #KentwoodStrong
