Terri Barnes offers a unique and distinctive approach to real estate as an Associate Broker at Kentwood City Properties. With over 30 years home design experience as owner of TB Image by Design, she blends high level service and customer representation, an analytical approach, project management and extensive sourcing with local Colorado immersion, a proven sales and negotiation track record and a focus on value. Terri is someone Buyers and Sellers can trust with their real estate investment dollars.
Leveraging design for Buyers and Sellers:
While Terri is well known for her record-breaking sales with luxury property transactions, she has also helped clients reimagine more modest properties for improved function and return on interior design. Terri’s multifaceted background allows her to see more options in any given property and present them to her clients. Her forward-thinking approach allows her clients to identify and enhance a property’s integrity while reflecting their lifestyle, meeting their needs and increasing its value over time.
Terri handles interior merchandising (staging) for her clients wishing to sell their homes. Her interior design, sourcing and project management services are part of her real estate value to Sellers. Keeping overall investment budget and anticipated return a priority, Terri will recommend changes to space, repurpose and edit current furnishings, and suggest key purchases to transform the residence for maximal price per square foot and minimal days on market.
Versatility and broad market understanding:
Terri is on the forefront of real estate development, construction, remodel and national home design trends. She’s worked on real estate transactions in multiple capacities and under varying market conditions. She listens closely, distills complexity, finds creative solutions and diligently tailors her marketing and search efforts to her clients’ specific and broader goals. She has consulted on projects ranging from high end extensive remodels to multi-unit developments to historic preservation of landmark buildings. She works with all types of residential properties from median priced single-family homes to city condos and lofts to mountain retreats.
Community immersion – international exposure:
With deep roots in Colorado as a 4th generation Denverite, Terri has worked and lived in the Washington Park, Hilltop, Denver Country Club and LoHi neighborhoods of Denver, as well as, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Castle Pines, Arvada, Golden and Boulder. Terri is a true partner who can guide her clients through every detail of a Colorado real estate transaction, but can also help Buyers translate their lifestyle vision into reality in the Denver market or Sellers create broader market appeal to both local and new to Colorado buyers.
