Brian was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey and moved to Denver in 1990. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Computer Science through Fine Art. Brian has been with Kentwood City Properties since 2002. His clients pride him on his professionalism and continuous contact keeping them educated and comfortable with every step of the process. The Harris team works with roughly 90% referrals from past clients. Brian feels that is a mark of satisfied clientele and is a statistic he wishes to continue in the future. Brian focuses on LoDo and the metro Denver neighborhoods. In 2003 he was part of the initial sales team marketing the 2500 Walnut lofts, a forty unit conversion. Harris says, "One of the hardest things is to get Buyers to feel comfortable about the unknown. Whether it's a home in the middle of a remodel or if you are looking at a vacant building, you have to be excited and provide the vision to get people excited." Brian adds, “As a listing agent, when a potential buyer walks in and starts talking about a different project or location, you have to know your competition to relate and put your listing on top. As a buyer agent, it really helps to be able to provide different options and help a buyer feel confident and comfortable that a home or area they are targeting will meet their needs." Brian feels personal commitment and customer service are key components when working with buyers and sellers. Harris sums up, "We have seen drastic changes in the real estate market in the past few years. The internet provides a valuable tool for buyers and sellers and as an agent we have to provide a service that surpasses the information a buyer can get online. Clients that have worked with us have seen the value and benefit in our experience. We have saved a lot of money for our clients throughout the home inspection process. Jamie and Brian thoroughly enjoy being parents to their two children, Hudson and Chase. Hudson is five years old and he just recently became a big brother to Chase in April of 2010. Having children themselves, and working with numerous families with young children has made them extraordinarily knowledgeable about the various school systems in the Denver area. They welcome the opportunity to discuss a family’s educational goals simultaneously to their wants in needs in terms of a new home.
