Luisa Staerkel began her real estate career in 1985. Born and raised in Denver, Luisa received her bachelor’s degree from Regis College in Denver in 1975 and her master’s degree from the University of Colorado in 1980.
In 1988 Luisa became a principal in the ownership group at The Devonshire Company and held the position as Managing Partner for the company from 1989 to 1994. With the sale of the company in 1998 to Coldwell Banker, Luisa decided to step back from management and continued her career focused on residential real estate sales. In 2007, Luisa joined Kentwood Real Estate in the Denver Tech Center.
As Kentwood’s DTC Managing Broker since 2010, Luisa brings superior real estate expertise, marketing skills and a vast knowledge of Metro Denver real estate, including particular experience in marketing luxury homes. Currently, Luisa specializes in Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Denver Country Club, Polo Grounds, Hilltop, Cherry Creek, and the Lower Downtown (“LoDo”) loft and condominium market.
As a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, The Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, Luisa has been involved in the REALTOR® community her entire career. She has consistently ranked in the DMAR Excellence Awards as an individual producer and has been recognized for managing the top performing office in her category year in and year out. Luisa was recognized as Managing Broker of the Year in 2019 by DMAR at their annual Excellence Awards celebration.
A lifelong Denver resident, Luisa currently resides in central Denver with her husband. Her two grown sons are close by and being a tightknit family defines their lives. Actively involved in the community, she has served for many years as a member of the Board of Trustees at Regis University in Denver.
